2 wheeler
2 Wheeler
I remember
going to my school with my father on his motorcycle. It was a ‘98 Honda CDI 100
Japanese model. To be honest, I am feeling the same excitement, the same
sparkle in my eyes that my father used to have whenever he talked about the
bike. It’s an emotion and I get nostalgic while writing about the motorcycle. A
2-wheeler that takes you from point A to point
B, you spend your savings on its maintenance but you still cannot have enough
of it is also known as a motorbike. People have mixed feelings about motorbikes. On one hand, you
will find thousands of motorbike enthusiasts, and on the other hand, people who
figuratively hate bikes for their dangerously risky ridings and countless red
flags. But nothing can decrease the love for bikes from a biker’s heart. From
tiers to the engine, color to torque, bike enthusiast tries gather all the
knowledge and also tries to modify their bike according to their gathered
knowledge. That is how much people can go crazy about bikes. Asking a biker
about his bike is like asking Shakespeare to talk about one of his writings.
But it is also true that not everyone is a fan of motorcycles. If you ask
people to rate the most dangerous vehicle bike will be the first one on the
list and there is no doubt. From Shiftwalker to the latest motorbikes, the
enthusiasm has just increased with the generation.
The first bike that hit the road was invented by a German invented named Gottlieb Daimler in November 1885.
The concept of the motorbike is simple. It is a revolution. But Daimler was working on an ICE engine. They just wanted to find out whether ICE engines were viable for use in vehicles. Thus they created a revolutionary vehicle that created a huge market and business. Once bikes became commercially viable, there was no stopping their growth, and constant evolution kept the ball rolling. The world was introduced to various types of engines like Inline-four, inline-six, L-twin, and many more.
The materials used in construction increased, as did reliability, and the
list goes on, eventually leading us to today when motorbikes are entering an
all-new era of electrification.
From its
creation to recent days, motorbikes have had a revolution and improved a lot
through their journey. Like it or not EVs are doing great with cars and they
will take over bikes also. Electric bikes are improving and they are targeting
a huge market. It is just a matter of time before diesel engines will be just
decoration in museums. Even though EV bikes have many benefits and it is also
nature-friendly It will crush my heart if they ban diesel engines.
Millions of
admirer bikes still are in the hated vehicle for just one reason. And the
reason is it is Dangerous. YES, the bike is indeed dangerous and no one will
deny that. Every biker has to be careful and sensible while driving a bike.
Most of the accident that happens on the road quarter of them will include
bikes. Sometimes it’s the biker’s fault but most of the time this dangerous
accident happens because big vehicles like buses, trucks others do not give
much attention to the bike. According to research, Bikes contributed to 37.78
percent of deaths and three-wheelers to 21.71 percent. The ARI data shows a
gradual rise in bike-related accidents and deaths in the last few years. At
least 1,097 people were killed in 958 bike-related accidents in 2020 while
the numbers were 1168 and 1056 respectively last year. (Adhikary,22). It is always fun to ride a bike
but it’s like ricking your whole life for a glimpse of the fun. Another reason
for the hatred is the loudness of bikes. Bikes can get a little bit loud.
That’s the thing that bikers love about bikes, the exhaust note. It is indeed a
guilty pleasure.
I have a dream. A dream that may not come true but it will be always on my bucket list. My dream is to travel by bike. There are so many majestic places in the world and so many places to view. Riding a bike is like an addiction. Recently so many people started traveling by bike and their journey story sounds like magic.
The bike is
an adventure. It takes you to another level of enjoyment and helps you to
create many memories. Whenever people engage with something like a bike, they
always create something extraordinary. Indeed bikes have their cons and
disadvantages but the love for bikes is unconditional. There are more
generations to come who will adore and take the motorbikers community ahead.
